Do you offer an anual payment option?

All of the memberships we offer are auto-renewal monthly memberships. If you prefer to pay anualy, please contact our offices on 020 3856 4911

What is your cancelation fee ?

Our cancelation fee is £25.00, but once you have been a member for 6 months we do not charge a cancelation fee!

If I purchase a membership can I call you straight away?

Unfortunately no. Our memberships carry a 48 hour inception period, which means that for the first 48 hours from when your membership commences, you will not be able to call upon our service. Please note that in the event you change your vehicle during the course of your membership the 48 hour inception period will reapply from when the change takes effect.

Do your memberships cover me or
the vehicle?

All of the memberships we offer here at Breakdown Club cover the vehicle and not you personally. This means that no matter who is driving the vehicle, as long as they are doing so legally and with your permission as the membership holder, they can call upon our service.

What is your average attendance time ?

With over 600 agents nationwide. Our average attendance time is around 40 minutes!

Do you issue membership cards

No, we do not issue membership cards. Whilst we advise to have your registration to hand in the event of a breakdown, service will not be refused if you do not, as we are able to find your membership on other parameters such as your name or postcode.

roadside assistance.

I`ve already broken down. Can I join online and request assistance imediatly?

No. The cover can’t be purchased if you’ve already broken down. However, we can still help you if you require assistance. Simply call us on 020 3856 4911.

Does my membership work when towing a caravan?

Yes, caravans are covered idf you are a platinum membership holder

Do I have to pay for call-outs?

If you’re a Breakdown Club customer we won’t charge you for call-outs.

Will you assist me, if i have an accident?

We’re happy to repair or recover your vehicle after an accident but you’ll need to pay for the service. You should then approach your motor insurer to cover your costs.

How will you decide wheter or not to repair my vehicle at the roadside?

We’ll do everything we possibly can to get your vehicle fixed to enable you to get to your destination. If we can’t get you going the help we can offer depends on your level of cover.
With our basic level of cover, we’ll take you to a destination of your choice provided it is within 10 miles where you broke down, or a repairer of our choice any distance away.

Am I covered if I run out of fuel?

Yes, (platinum and business membership holders only)  we’ll come rescue you and top your vehicle up. You’ll need to pay for the cost of the additional fuel. This will get you going to the next available petrol station.

Can I buy over the phone?

Yes you can, our Sales office hours are Mon-Fri 9.00am-6.00pm or Sat 9.00am-12.30pm. The direct number for sales and Admin is 020 3856 4911 give us a call and we will be pleased to help.

Is safe to pay my membership online?

Yes, all payments are received Stripe. Their security is of the best possible standard. Payments can be made with any credit or debit card. All payment screens are SSL secured and the website has 3D Card protection.

I have a question, what should I do?

If your query is not related with a current breakdown, please call us 9.00am-6.00pm or Sat 9.00am-12.30pm on 020 3856 4911 and we will be pleased to help.

What happens if my car needs repairing at a garage and the garage is closed?

If the chosen repairer is closed and you choose to have the vehicle taken to your home, we’ll collect it the next day (or whenever is convenient for you) and take it to the chosen repairer, all as part of our service.
